Susan K. McClements practices estate planning and estate administration from her offices in Lexington, Massachusetts. Susan prides herself in providing clients with practical and thorough legal advice in a manner that is clear, direct and timely. She listens carefully to her clients, assisting them in identifying estate planning goals. Whether its ensuring young children are cared for, tax planning or benefiting a favorite charity, Susan creates estate plan documents (such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care proxies), to carry out clients’ wishes and achieve their goals. In addition, Susan’s calm and reassuring demeanor coupled with her knowledge of the estate administration process is a welcome resource for clients during the difficult and often overwhelming time following the death of a family member or friend.
Formerly with Betcher & Yunes, LLP and Ropes & Gray, Susan is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, a past volunteer at Volunteer Lawyers Project and a board member of the Dana Home Foundation, Inc., a private foundation in Lexington serving seniors. She also serves as a trustee of the Trustees of Public Trusts for the Town of Lexington. Susan graduated from Williams College and Boston University School of Law, summa cum laude. In her spare time, Susan enjoys reading, golfing and spending time with her three young adult children, her Labrador Retriever and her husband, not necessarily in that order. |
